Kaitlin R. Zarro represents commercial real estate developers, property owners and lenders across Maryland and the Mid-Atlantic in acquisitions, dispositions, financing and development, with particular experience in easements, condominium declarations and joint development agreements.
Before joining KatzDay, Kaitlin was a partner in the Real Estate Section at Whiteford, Taylor & Preston LLP. She earned her B.A., cum laude, from the University of Maryland and her J.D., magna cum laude, from the University of Baltimore School of Law. She is admitted in Maryland, the District of Columbia and the U.S. District Court for the District of Maryland.
Kaitlin has been recognized by Best Lawyers in America and Maryland Super Lawyers and is active in CREW Baltimore. She serves on the board of the Wiessner Foundation for Children, previously chaired Kappa Delta Sorority’s Alumnae Chapter Advisory Board and volunteers with Meals on Wheels of Maryland.

• Acquisition of a 136-lot residential community in Frederick County, Virginia, for a national homebuilder, including a land-bank takedown structure.
• Purchase of three retail shopping centers in Kent County, Delaware, for $30 million.
• Negotiation of a land condominium structure and sale of a land unit to a national franchise.
• Refinancing of a $7.5 million debt facility secured by a retail shopping center with a life insurance company.
• A multiphase residential public-private partnership project in Anne Arundel County, Maryland.
